Kathy Bernstein
My practice comprises two basic approaches: I offer
Integrated Kabbalistic Healing® (abbreviated "IKH") sessions based
on the work of Jason Shulman and A Society of Souls. I also offer
Life Readings based on both my lifelong study and practice of
numerology, and my training and practice of IKH.
I was recently asked to write a few very short paragraphs
describing my sense of what, in essence, Integrated Kabbalistic
Healing was all about. Here's what I came up with:
Anything I can tell you about this work is already a step away
from the experience of the work. The problem with describing IKH is
you are trying to talk about something that is alive. A poem about a
rose, or a picture of a rose, is a far cry from an individual rose,
here, now, palpable to all the senses.
This work allows one to wake up, not to a picture of who they are,
or a story of who they are, but to the palpable aliveness of who
they are. This aliveness of who I am presents me to me, even if it
is the aliveness of my neurosis. Awakening to myself, even my
neurosis -- for nothing is excluded -- presents, to borrow one of
Jason Shulman's expressions, a "choiceless choice" which was not
previously available.
I have combined my experience and study of numerology and
the Kabbalah into my Life Reading sessions. These readings aim to
give new expression to the shape or essential nature of who we are,
our unique and varied strengths and weaknesses, gifts and struggles,
and other cycles or influences we encounter along our life-paths.
The work strives to deepen understanding of our selves, and provide
clearer vision of our situation and the choices that have been
placed before us.
The Kabbalah, and the deep meanings of numbers, tell us much
about the fabric of the world we live in and the world that lives
within us. This fabric is the "stuff" of who-we-are, and it is from
this fabric that the universe is created. Our numbers, derived from
our name given at birth, and our birthday, bear witness to this
fabric, and to the plenum from which our essential nature was pulled
to give birth to our particular, unique life-path. Creation is the
central theme of this approach to inner work.

Throughout the year I offer workshops and classes on various
facets of numerology and Integrated Kabbalistic Healing. My
website Numbers And Kabbalah
dot org maintains the latest information of the classes and
workshops I offer.
